Another Call

it has been almost a year since posting to this blog. its purpose was to document the Lord's work in Zambia with the Breath of Heaven's ministry team of 2006. It was a wonderful experience that has blessed me over and over. yet, 2007 has been a big year for me. i have been focusing on my wedding and all that comes with that. the farthest thing from my mind was going back to Zambia -at least right now.

but then I received a call from my father-a man I love and respect dearly- and i was told my 15 year old sister Vita May felt led to go to Zambia. with her age, he was a little uneasy about letting her go without family accompaniment. he was asking me if i would go.

this was tough- i was preparing a wedding and -honestly- i was concerned about leaving my fiancee one month before the actual day. money was an issue too - i had to save up for Zambia the year before and this year my savings were earmarked for the wedding. i told my father i would pray about it and when i did, God made it oh so apparent. i was not to be an obstacle to what God was doing in Vita. i was not to worry about my fiancee because he was protecting and comforting her. i was not to worry about money, because He would provide. with that, I spoke to my fiancee and she understood and said that she was not to be an obstacle of the Lord's work either. i received full sponsorship for the trip. God prepared our hearts and minds.

it was another call to do His work with a new team in 2007. i leave Sunday with mighty expectations.
